Rachel Tess, long time collaborator Isaac Spencer, and lighting designer Jennifer Linn will be re-evaluating, re-inventing, and reveling in the creative process during a month long research period in Portland this August. The two performances of Always,Always/Never,Never, will be a culmination of the brainstorming, choreographing, dancing, and designing associated with this residency. This process is a prelude to the evening length solo Rachel will be premiering in December 2010. We would like to thank The Portland Ballet and Uptown Ballroom for the use of their beautiful studios.

Solo Project
a one woman traveling show premiering in December 2010

Rachel is teaming up with long time friend and fellow Portland native Paige Prendergast, owner and curator of Breeze Block Gallery, to present the first performances of a one woman traveling show. Created and performed by Rachel in collaboration with lighting designer Jennifer Linn.

The Stravinsky Project
a collaboration with Oregon Ballet Theatre and BodyVox

Rachel will be choreographing in collaboration with Oregon Ballet Theatre's Anne Mueller and BodyVox's Jamey Hampton and Ashley Roland as part of the 2011 OBT season.
